MCACN 2026: Even MORE Reasons to Join Us
So generally speaking, these eblasts present a sampling of the outstanding cars that we will have in the upcoming show. Since we pride ourselves in presenting a new and fresh show each and every year, it isn't hard to show off a few of the nearly 600 cars you will be able to see, up close and in person. Today we'd like to do something a little different. As we travel to shows and events spreading the word, we listen to what people say about joining us and I would like to provide a few simple answers to questions I sometimes hear, and perhaps address a few concerns.
1. Can I get a hotel, and at a good price? Simple answer: Yes and YES! We work very hard to make sure our participants AND our spectators have nice accommodations with great rates. We start with our SEVEN Official Host Hotels. ALL are within walking distance with five being literally across the street. (The other two are just a few blocks away). Rates start at just $149.00 per night at the Crowne Plaza and the Hyatt and all of them have reduced rate parking and extra MCACN exclusive perks. You can book your rooms now here: www.mcacn.com/hotels Use these links as they are the easiest way to get the proper rates. And remember; we NEVER have any outside companies representing us to solicit hotel business.
2. Is the show really worth the price of admission? OK, let's get this one out of the way. YES...you can go to a lot of shows with a lower admission price. To answer this question we suggest you ask the thousands of people who join us every year. You will see cars that are rarely (if ever!) shown that join us from across the country, Canada and even other countries and you will have direct access to the owners, who we encourage to be by their cars and to share stories. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity in many cases. We also have FREE admission for Kids 12 and Under both days and we have our Military Appreciation Day Sunday only with FREE admission for past and present members of our Military. As a side note, we are often called "The Pebble Beach of Muscle Cars". Did you know a basic single day admission ticket for the recent Pebble Beach event was $650.00?
3. Is it just a bunch of cars or is there more to see? While the cars get us under one roof, there is so much more to this event. Free Seminars with the real "movers and shakers" of our hobby, live music Saturday night from TWO awesome bands, a variety of the best automotive related vendors, some great food options and all kinds of FREE activities and giveaways for the kids are just a few of the additional things to do and see.
4. Thinking "outside of the box"; Is there anything else that is really cool? We can all certainly agree that nothing goes together better than cool cars and Rock and Roll! Chicago Music Exchange brings in some of the coolest vintage and new Rock and Roll guitars and even stage used and very real backline music equipment. Andrew Yonke, CEO of CME, also happens to own some prime American Muscle, knows darn near every person in the industry and he extends the invitation to many of his Rock and Roll car loving friends. To see an example, check out this awesome video of REO Speedwagon Guitar player Dave Amato who joined us last year. Dave checks out the show and presents a very special "Pick" award in this video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j875aEdWPN4
5. I went before and while it was great, I got so tired; do they have any place to sit down? OK...I have to confess. Using prime real estate for tables and chairs is hard for me, as I rarely sit down unless I'm driving! BUT, we listen and have addressed this in several ways. First off, yes, we have a variety of tables and chairs throughout the show floor for you to relax. Last year we launched our new VIP Lounge, presented by RBC Wealth Management. This was a hit and will be expanded this year! (Thanks RBC!) Tables, chairs, a walk-up bar and couches are a few of the features of the RBC Lounge. Then we have our relocated stage area, right in the center rear of the "big" room. You willl find several hundred chairs there and while you rest, you can catch one of the seminars or round table discussions or perhaps some good old Rock and Roll and Blues. And then...we have our "chute" area on the right center of the big room, close to several of our food vendors. This area has an entire row of round tables and chairs; the perfect gathering spot or meeting place to reconnect with past and future friends.
So there you have it, a few MORE reasons to join us when we return to the awesome Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois, Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22. Oh...and one more thing; our show IS NOT in "Chicago" as we are in Rosemont, a nice clean and accessible suburban area about 20 minutes outside of Chicago, with all kinds of cool stuff. This includes the Rosemont Entertainment District with a beautiful theater, indoor skydiving, a bowling alley, all kinds of restaurants and a 130+ store outlet mall. Rosemont is the perfect place to bring the whole family. It is also perfect if you want to spend the entire time at the show while your family can mix it up with a long list of other activities.
Be Safe, Live Life and most importantly Be NICE and plan on joining us!
