JUDGING & AWARDS
What It Takes to Stand Out
Fair, consistent, and based on real knowledge—every car is judged on its own merit.

HOW IT WORKS
Each vehicle at MCACN is judged individually. Concours, Day 2 and Super Street entries begin with a perfect score, usually 1,000 points, and deductions are taken for incorrect, missing, or non-authentic details. Depending on the final score, vehicles earn Gold, Silver, or Bronze level awards within their class.

Other programs use their own recognition system, specific to that certification.
Our goal is simple: fair, consistent judging that recognizes each car on its own merit.
JUDGING CLASSES
We offer several judging approaches to fit a wide range of vehicles:

CONCOURS
Factory-correct restorations judged against how the vehicle left the assembly line
DAY 2
Period-correct cars with modifications typical of the era
SUPER STREET
Custom, modified, and well-driven cars judged on overall presentation
What Judges Look For
We offer several judging approaches to fit a wide range of vehicles:
CONCOURS
Vehicles must be restored to factory-correct condition. Authenticity is critical—cars with altered, replaced, or questionable VINs will not be judged.
DAY 2
Modifications are allowed, but must be period-correct within a reasonable timeframe from the car’s original production. Not for clones or tribute cars. VIN authenticity is required.
SUPER STREET
Judged on fit, finish, cleanliness, and overall presentation. No deductions are taken for modifications.
How Awards Are Earned
Awards in these categories are based on score—not competition between vehicles—meaning every participant has the opportunity to achieve the highest level of recognition.
CONCOURS
Vehicles begin with 1,000 points. Judges deduct points for items that differ from factory-original specifications, resulting in gold, silver or bronze.
DAY 2
Day 2 vehicles are evaluated for authentic period-correct modifications and receive one to three stars.
SUPER STREET
Super Street vehicles are judged within their class and recognized with red, white or blue ribbon.
