MCACN's Highest Level of Mustang and Shelby Judging;

At the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, we pride ourselves in offering a wide variety of Judging options. We also offer NON Judged opportunities for those of you who prefer a more relaxed no pressure setting. Of course, we have our Concours categories and our MCACN exclusive Day 2 judging, along with our more relaxed Super Street category which focuses on fit and finish and cleanliness. Today we'd like to discuss our Pinnacle certification program for the absolute best of the best in the Mustang and Shelby world, with the occasional Cougar.
Reserved strictly for the finest restored to as delivered factory stock condition, Pinnacle Certification recognizes elite Mustang and Shelby restorations that meet the hobby’s highest standards for authenticity, detail, and presentation. Led by Bob Perkins along with Rick Campbell, Scott Skalitsky and Jim Cunningham, the candidates are inspected inside and out. A Titan Lift is utilized allowing our team of experts the opportunity to check all date codes and part numbers for authenticity and accuracy and using the proper build techniques is a top priority. Pre qualification is a prerequisite, acknowledging MCA, SAAC and/or Mid America Mustang awards. This is not for the faint of heart, as these cars have been restored to the highest standards using only proper original and NOS parts, and finishes must replicate how they left the assembly line, right down to the last nut and bolt. If you want to see the very best, this is where you will find them!
Again this year we have a stellar lineup that includes several Boss Mustangs and prime Shelby's. Joining us from as far away as California, you will be able to see some of the finest restored, as delivered Mustangs and Shelby's ever shown, up close and personal. These cars are not over-restored, as hours go into researching the proper build techniques and an emphasis on the proper parts and assembly is a priority. The commitment of the owners of these cars is what sets them apart. Make a point of spending some time checking out the MCACN Pinnacle Certification area out and talking to the owners. These cars really are the best of the best!
This is yet another reason to join us when we return to the beautiful Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (SUBURBAN Chicago), Illinois, Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22.
