Hagerty Insurance Brings Youth Judging to MCACN Show

HAGERTY INSURANCE OPERATION IGNITE! BRINGS KIDS INTO THE MCACN MIX FOR 2012

I often talk about how honored we are to have the best in the industry as Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Sponsors. Not only do they allow us to produce the world’s largest all indoor specialty show devoted to Muscle Cars, Dealer-built Supercars and Corvettes through their monetary contributions, but they are also hands-on and help us with some great special features. This week, we are happy to announce that Hagerty Insurance will be hosting something new this year at MCACN through their cool Operation Ignite! program. The Hagerty team will be getting the kids involved with their Youth Judging program. Since we are firm believers in planting the seed early, let me tell you all about it.

Operation Ignite! will gives kids the chance to get up close to some of the country’s finest and rarest Muscle Cars and Corvettes through their Youth Judging program. Led by an adult guide at the MCACN show, Young Judges will learn the basics of judging while taking a look at select vehicles, interacting with owners and learning details, facts and the history of each vehicle. We will also ask our Young Judges to present the awards to their top three place finishers during the event award ceremony. So how can your kids participate? Well, join us Saturday and check in at the Hagerty booth, which is just past the Information booth up front, to sign up.

A Hagerty team member will fill you in on the details and set up a time to start judging. The team leader will explain and assist in the judging process. This is sure to be a hit with the kids and will allow special VIP access to some of the best cars and car owners in the show!

Remember, Hagerty Insurance reps will be on hand all weekend to assist in your needs for not only your collector car, but also your classic boat or motorcycle. Last year they brought along a gorgeous Shelby GT500 and I am sure you’ll find another beauty in their booth this year! Be sure to take some time to see why the proper collector policy is what you really need for your favorite toy...you’ll be happy that you did!

The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show will return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, (greater Chicago), Illinois, November 17-18, 2012. The show will host over 500 of the country’s finest and rarest Muscle Cars, dealer-built Supercars and Corvettes along with well over 200 car related vendor spots and two car for sale area’s. Additional special features include live entertainment Saturday night by The Vinyl Highway Band, FREE daily seminars, automotive celebrities and authors, a Muscle Bike show, FREE model car contest and Revell Models make and take, and much more.
