INCREDIBLE CAMARO’S WILL REPRESENT ALL GENERATIONS AT 2014 MCACN SHOW
Mark Pecikonis 1968 Camaro Convertible
Yes...the GTO may arguably be the first Muscle Car, but to many, it is the Chevrolet Camaro that got them hooked on this great hobby of ours. Launched as an all new 1967 model, this is the car that captured the eye of many a young man, and certainly many young ladies, when they were launched in late 1966. With that being said, we would like to tell you about some of the truly outstanding examples of Camaro’s of nearly all generations that you will see at the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in Rosemont, (suburban Chicago) Illinois, when we return to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in two weeks!
THE FIRST CAMARO, #N10001: That’s right....see the actual first 1967 Camaro up close and in person. After extensive research was done and documentation gathered, this car has just emerged from a full restoration. With many unique features, you really need to see it in person. And to make things even better, this car will be on display with all kinds of documentation, and a whole group of Norwood Ambassadors, who are former employees of the Norwood, Ohio assembly plant, home of numerous Camaro’s and Firebird’s. Special Guest Phil Borris will also be on hand signing his book, Echoes of Norwood. For a sneak preview, check out the new N10001 website; www.pilotcarregistry.com

TWIN UNVEILING SATURDAY MORNING: Yep, you read that right! We are pleased to announce our very first “twin” unveiling, which will take place Saturday morning at 11:15 am. Gary Riley and his team at Level One Restorations out in Colorado are putting the finishing touches on the 1969 #1 Indianapolis 500 Camaro Pace Car, owned by Vernon Smith of Newfoundland, and the #2 Indianapolis 500 Camaro Pace Car, owned by Wade Ogle from California. These are the actual front of the race cars, not replicas! And while we’re on the subject of real Pace Cars, you’ll also see the 1967 Indy Pace Car #1 and a 1993 Official Track Car! You may be seeing yet another ‘69 too, and it isn’t from Indy!
Kenny Pascoe 1969 Camaro RS/SS 396 L89
L89 INVITATIONAL: Yep...we have several real-deal fully documented examples of the ultra rare L89 equipped Camaro’s in this very special Invitational display.
NASTY Z/28 GROUP: If you like 2nd Gen Camaro’s, then you’ll love this group of nine Camaro’s from 1970-1979. The quality and variety are outstanding, and the owners like to have fun, so make a point of checking out this display on the far right side of the “big” room.
