RAREST AND FINEST CORVETTES AND CORVETTE PEOPLE CONVERGE ON MCACN V,
NOVEMBER 23-24, 2013
As a show promoter, I know there is a lot of hype about shows. Yes... I am certainly guilty, but with what we have in store for the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show, I find it hard to contain my excitement! So today, let me tell you about some of the Corvettes and Corvette related features you will be able to see this year at our 5th Anniversary MCACN show.

BILL STASEK CHEVROLET INCREASE THEIR PRESENCE;
Bill and his team have been our Presenting Sponsor since our inception, and we could not ask for a better group to be affiliated with. You see, these guys and ladies are as enthusiastic about our hobby as we are! Being Illinois #1 volume Corvette dealer and one of the largest retailers of Callaway Corvettes, they “get it” and talk the talk. So this year, we are thrilled to say they are really kicking things up. In addition to their big display, you will see their secondary display loaded with GM licensed goodies and that’s not all! This year, Bill Stasek Chevrolet will be bringing in another fifteen prime Corvettes and more to our Car Corral area for their THIRD display area! No junk back there this year, just great deals on great cars. “With all the interest in the new C7 and Corvettes in general, we have taken in some outstanding trades,” stated Corvette Manager Brent Baker. “And what better place to offer our best deals than right from the floor of the MCACN show!” Be assured, they are ready to deal and ready to set you up in the Corvette or Camaro that you have been dreaming of! And yes...you can count on seeing the new C7 Corvette in their display!
CORVETTE CENTRAL TO PRESENT NEW SEMINARS WITH CHRIS PETRIS
Chris Petris seminars, hosted by Corvette Central right in their booth have been hits every year. This year, Chris will be talking small block Chevy engines both Saturday and Sunday. And don’t forget, Corvette Central is our Official Sponsor of the Triple Diamond Corvette display and competition, (one of our largest ever!) with the finest all original and restored to original Corvettes from 1956-1988 vying for Triple Diamond honors. Special thanks go out to Crate Engine Depot and Nickey for supplying engines and parts for these seminars.
MID AMERICA MOTORWORKS PRESENTS THE AWESOME XP-819
MCACN Sponsor Mid America Motorworks display is always a hot-spot at our show, and this year is no exception! Chief Cheerleader Mike Yager is bringing in the awesome XP-819, shown “in progress” as it is being restored by Kevin Mackay and the Corvette Repair, Inc team. This is rare opportunity to see what is underneath this unique rear-engine GM Design Concept, and to see the latest offerings from our friends from Effingham!

CORVETTE SR2 ON DISPLAY!
This is yet another really rare opportunity! See one of the most significant Corvette Racers ever built. This is one of the purpose built racers that Zora Arkus-Duntov built to strike fear in Ferrari and the others. This is indeed the real thing, joining us from the Greg Boehme Collection out of Seattle, Washington.
1967 CORVETTE L/88 INVITATIONAL DISPLAY
Seeing even one of these cars is a treat, so imagine for just a minute seeing an entire circle in one place. That is what we are hosting this year at MCACN V! We will kick this off with the Unveiling of a beautiful silver 1967 L/88 roadster at 11:15 Saturday, fresh from restoration, that is joining us from California from The Perham Collection. And get this...the Perham’s will also be bringing in their matching ‘68 and ‘69 silver L/88 Roadsters! But wait, we are not done yet! Special guests in this display are legendary Corvette racer Tony DeLorenzo, who will be sitting right beside his actual ‘67 L/88 roadster, (thanks to current owner Chuck Ungurean) and Dr. Pete Gimenez, who will be signing his outstanding book, Corvette Racing Legends. (BTW...we also have additional L/88’s in our Title Sponsor Mecum Auctions display and in the Triple Diamond display!) Special Thanks go out to the owners and Kevin Mackay for allowing us to make this happen.
